«I have to be good. I am Jeffrey Alan Woods and I'm going to be good». (Protagonist)

The Protagonist is the protagonist of the game. His role is to escape the school and to avoid getting caught by Sister Madeline. He has 5 days to escape and solve the various puzzles using different items.

Description

The Protagonist seems to be wearing something in which was trendy in 1964 for little boys, as the game takes place in the 1964. In Evil Nun 2, we are playing as William Bismarch, William seems to be wearing a school uniform and according to the credits of Evil Nun 2, William is the child with blue hands and is voiced by Elliot Bratton and it later confirmed to be the child with the blue hands because at the end of the true ending Sister Madeline collapse to the ground after she got pregnant by Nazrat's magic and the cup falls and that how the child got his hands blue.

Behavior

Evil Nun 1

The Protagonist will spawn in a small room, there is a blackboard and written on it is a message that says: "I have to be good. I am Jeffrey Alan Woods and I'm going to be good". Next to the blackboard is a closet with claw marks you can peek in when you are inside it. Anyways, The Protagonist can access all places just like Sister Madeline. When the Protagonist is spotted, a loud growl-like scream will be made by Sister Madeline and she will go towards him, fast or slow depending on which difficulty. The scream she makes is very useful to The Protagonist, he will be able to know that she is near and saw you. If she gets too close to you she will knock you out with her hammer while screaming at you (not the growl-like scream, mentioned before), he will be sent to the next day, or a Game Over if it's his last day. The Protagonist just has a neutral behavior and is pretty much independent.

Evil Nun 2

William will spawn in the Mutant Chicken's Room, William has to be cautious and William can access all locations by going through the secret passages, when William is spotted by either one of the mutant chickens or the nun, he will be chased down by fast or slow depending on the difficulty, and unlike the original game, William will get jumpscared differently depending on who they get caught by

Mr. C, will punch him 4 times with his wings

Roostel, he will peck him with his beak

Sister Madeline, she will slap him in the face and leave out an evil laugh instead of hitting them with her heavy hammer.

Gummy, she will bite the arm with her mouth located on her stomach. (Note: her attack won't bring you to the next day or Game Over.)

Evil Nun: The Broken Mask

Just like Evil Nun 1, the Protagonist will spawn in a small room, there is a blackboard and written on it is a message that says: "I have to be good. I am Jeffrey Alan Woods and I'm going to be good". Next to the blackboard is a closet, the closet has a hole inside of it which you can peak from when your inside of it. When the protagonist is spotted, Sister Madeline will say a voice line. Some voice lines being, "Have I presented you with my hammer?", "Do you think you are behaving like a good child?", "Your presence defiles this sacred ground!" And many more. She will run after you depending on the difficulty set. Once you get caught you will progress to the next day.

Hiding

Evil Nun 1

There are some places that The Protagonist can hide in, he can hide in closets and lockers. But if the Nun sees you enter a hiding spot, she will open the door and hit you with her hammer.

Evil Nun 2

There are alot of places William can hide in, behind a wooden fence in the garden and in a bunch of closets, unlike in evil nun 1, Sister Madeline or the mutant chickens won't open the closet every time they go in nor the wooden fence, even if in their sight.

Defending

When the dynamite, crank or doll are assembled into the explosive doll, you can use it to knock out the Nun for a minute and a half (90 seconds). The Protagonist can use it to grab the Safe Key that was on her.

Personality

The Protagonist appears to be conscientiousness. His heavy breathing shows anxiety. He displays also a concentration-like personality by only focusing on escaping the School. He also appears to be neutral and independent.
