Sister Philippa is one of the characters in the Evil Nun franchise.
Her alter ego is the Laundry Nun which is also the way every single Player knows her.
Bio
Appearance
Behavior
When she encounters the Player, she will let out a distressed scream and drive away in her Laundry van, making her non-hostile to the Player. However, this sound will alert Evil Nun and bring her outside to check what happened. The Player must think of a strategy beforehand or just avoid her seeing them. On Ghost Mode, she will be unable to see them just like Evil Nun. If the player attempts to hide in the car after she's seen them, they will be unable to hide and therefore unable to escape with the car. You might get run over by her car if you stand in the way.
Etymology
Philippa is the feminime form of Phillipus, the Ancient Greek word "Φίλιππος" which means "Lover of Horses."
Description
Unlike Evil Nun, she looks harmless and not dead, she works for the Evil Nun as a launderer to send dirty clothes to the lost children to wash them off, she drives the clothes to a School from an unknown location outside the School Zone where The Player can't access it. Her appearance is a chubby nun wearing what shows to be a habit (a habit is what they call the nun's clothing) with a tattered veil (what they're wearing on their heads) and what could show to be a necklace or a label of an upside down cross on her chest. She does not attack the player unlike the evil nun. She is seen smiling with her eyes closed and was possesed by Sister Madeline somewhere in the 1950s and became her slave.
Routine
The Driving Nun comes to the school to drop off the dirty clothes to let the lost children clean them, after they are finished, she sets clean clothes back into the trunk of the van and drives off.
She comes to the school once every 90 seconds.
Defending
There are several ways of getting rid of Laundry Nun or defending yourself. Them being:
Hiding
In the Garage, there is a closet similar to the one that exists in the Player's Bedroom corridor or Dining Room. You can hide there if she sees you or when she sets the Laundry. If you hide there waiting for her to set the Laundry, you can only get out once she gets to sleep. However, the sleeping period is short and once you hear a bell ringing you have to go back there.
If she has seen you and gets scared, you can either hide in the closet so the Nun won't see you or go through the vent that leads in the Sewers.
Killing her
There are several ways of killing the Laundry Nun, you can use the Dynamites or the Torch as well as the Explosive Doll, which requires the Player to be hidden somewhere in order to use it. It's best not to kill her if you want to escape Through the Parking. This will make it impossible to escape. However, if you want to escape by Rescue the Children, then it is better to kill her or if you do not want. The following advice is a more peaceful way to get rid of her.
Stopping the Bell
This tactic most likely requires the Scissors which is accesible using the Locker Code on one of the lockers in the corridor located behind the Library. Next to the Laundry elevator, there is a bell that wakes up the Laundry Nun whenever she gets some sleep while waiting for the Laundry to be done. A cable is connected to this elevator that can be cut using the Scissors. That makes the Laundry Nun sleeping forever. This is not recommended again if you want to escape Through the Parking but it is highly recommended if you want to escape by Rescuing the Children.
